Culvert Crawlers - Waterbury Training

CReW (Community Resilience for the Waterbury Area) is excited to be expanding the culvert monitoring program aka "Culvert Crawlers" to Waterbury, and we are looking for volunteers!

Culverts are critical pieces of infrastructure that assist with stormwater runoff. Many of us have seen the unfortunate effects of a blocked or unmaintained culvert after heavy rain, which can lead to washed out roads or flooded homes.

Culvert Crawlers is a smartphone-based survey tool that allows volunteers to report on the condition of culverts around their town. Please join us Thursday, September 10th to learn more about this tool and learn how you can use it yourself!

Please CLICK HERE to register in advance for the training session - thank you!

While this training will focus on the use of the survey tool in Waterbury, we welcome interested volunteers from any of the towns in CReW’s service area including Middlesex, Moretown, Duxbury, and Bolton.
