Backwater Valve Rebate Program

Backwater valves are installed on the sanitary(sewer) line that connects a home to the public sewer in the street. A properly working backwater valve allows flow to go in only one direction (out!), preventing wastewater from entering your building during surcharges of the public sewer system or back-ups caused by storms.

Coming in May 2026, CReW is excited to introduce our Backwater Valve Rebate program, currently prioritizing residents who experienced sewer backups in the July 2023 or 2024 floods.
